Darkness rises
A star is born
Plays in a dark room
Fueled by the cover of morning's dusk
each step can be heard
Yet there are none to hear
Accept one
Each bounce rings out in a different tune
A melody not heard before
With each step, a dream rises
With each throw, a dream grows
Steps away from success and victory
Yet years may lay in waiting
The door opens
And clanks shut
The empty gym filled with light once again
