Don’t worry, Darling, everything will be OK
I’m sorry, but we just can’t stay
There was never a time that we were in love
But then you were an angel sent from above
You were the only the only thing that kept us together
I promise that everything will get better
That’s what you said a year ago
I felt like I was on death row
The day we left, it was sunny out
And little kids were running about
From then on everything was OK
I hurt myself last that day
I was at my happiest as I waved goodbye
“Goodbye, Daddy,” then I learned to fly
