The door,
So many rumors,
So many stories.
None said to be true.

The hangman's door,
Black, covered in ivy, old.
Suspended above the ground,
Inviting the noosed man
To step out,
And meet his doom.

The door is unused now,
Ghosts, memories, tears
Are all that's left
Of the days when
The Hangman's door was used.

Rumors, stories.
Untrue right?
Or maybe a grain of truth
is in the legend
Of The Hangman's Door

I really like it! It has a sort of eerie quality to it that makes you want to run and hide. Good job!
