Quiet,
So still,
The meadow breeze,
Call’s your name.

Soft dew,
Precious flowers,
The meadow breeze,
Sway’s silently.

Stepping further,
Into beauty,
Stepping further,
Into tranquility.

When will human’s notice,
The beauty,
These forests hold?

The tree’s cry,
Alive,
Thriving,
Breathing their last breaths.

Destruction,
Demise,
Why?

Why must we do this?
Throw away,
All that we have left?

The author's comments:
I have always noticed how people are slowly creating earth into a barren wasteland. It enrages me how people will not stop hurting our home. Soon enough, we won't have any more forests!
I just wanted to write about how I felt about this whole thing.
