Time is up
The moon was up
The fog rolling in
At half-past 11
The shadows grew long
A man standing there
Wrapped in billowing cloth
The heart the man had--
dark as night
He crept to the street
Steel glittering in the moon light
He stalked his prey
In the dead of the night
The time was coming
When at the house
He heard the pulsating sound
Tick, tick, tick
The prey was in the house
The man at the door
He knocked once then twice
The prey was coming out
He opened the door
All that was there
Was a simple pocket-watch
A family heirloom
