My voice is gone.
I open my mouth to speak,
nothing comes out.
I look to see if any-one's paying attention.
Of course not.
Every Time I try to speak,
they shut me out.
I'll just stay silent.
They don't deserve to hear my thoughts.
No one does.
I see one smile now.
His gentle eyes tell me it's okay.
I try to say what I wanted to,
nothing comes out.
My pen does all my talking.
Putting my thought on paper
so I am forever
Silent.
