El Fin
The end is a sickening feeling
 That creeps inside your heart
 It eats you whilst alive
And watches you in the dark

 You’ll never see it coming
 It’s quieter than night
 Lighter than a feather
 Higher than a kite

 The touch is undeniable
You can feel your energy go
The light in your eyes is failing
As the end begins to grow

At first, you won’t believe it
But soon it’s all you see
 You shut every curtain
 You accept its company

We don’t know when it’s coming
Or when we’ll ascend or descend
But one things is for certain
There’s no hiding from the end
