The Black Lab
A dog so loving and crazy
I have to run him to make him lazy
When the Lab was a puppy he kept on chewing
Now he is older and it’s all just begging
He is protective
But mainly playful
The dog walks around like a detective
With his nose stuck to the floor
He is as strong as an ox
And will run at you like a bucking bronco
An intelligent dog although he acts like a box of rocks
But he is a great combo
A lab so crazy he knocked a light over
Causing a drape to burn all over
All he does is sprint around and make havoc
While we sit in traffic
He is well trained
But is a giant pain
Causing injuries from muscles to ligaments to bones
Medusa might not even turn him to stone
This lab will eat drywall to toast
This poem shows why he always stands out the most
