Falling from the sky on a cold winters night,
Tickling your nose,
Turning your cheeks pink,
Taking away your breath,
Until you can hardly speak,
Freezing you to pieces,
And making your head pound,
The snow is falling to the ground.

Wanting to be made into angels,
Begging for you to leave your marks,
Perfect snow can never be perfect for long,
Big, fluffy, flakes
Snow is falling.

When will it ever stop?
We may never know.
It’s in the power of the great mother,
And only her to know.

The cold weather inspired me to write this piece. I hope people will share my love for snow by reading my poem.
