I looked for a reflection but I saw none
Are we proud of what man has become-
A lifelong question that is bigger than us
Not one can answer, but we can try
We find pleasure in risky acts we know are wrong
We find pleasure with friendship in song
We judge other standing in our own two shoes-
We influence some, though they should choose-
We draw hate from differences we don’t know-
All from words written thousands years ago-
We are all the same, living under one roof
We have the same goal, to find life’s truth
Now I see me, mankind did its part to help
If you don’t understand, find yourself-
