Trapped.

This house is out of control
It’s suffocating me
With every breath I try in vain
To rid these thoughts out of my head
I just want the noise to stop
I need some peace but I’m doomed to chaos
Never did I sign up for this
I never wanted to be here
I’m trapped in a cage created by my own weakness
There’s no way for me to break away
Sentenced to silence
I lie in the dark
Everyone asks but no one wants to know
No one wants to hear the truth
I say I’m fine and fake a smile
Wondering why they can’t see through it.
