“Why worry? It doesn’t change anything” he once said.
I watched him tare the wallpaper off the walls with no intention to replace it.
I watched him talk to the stray ally cats and ask for advice.
I watched him take the diamond and run with it.
I watched him cut down the trees and hand out the leaves as if they were just going to grow back.
I watched him grab the manikin’s body as if she was real.
I watched him fade like a ghost who had made an appearance.
For I did not worry, for what was worrying going to do?

The author's comments:
It’s about a girl who sits back and watches everything fall apart in her life. At the end she just doesn’t worry about anything because she was told not to worry by the same person who destroyed everything. How many of us sit back hoping everything will work out for the best? I’m pretty sure many.
