To leave is to go as to come is to stay.

You are the sweet rose of our lives and we are your vines
We protect you from all and any impurities
We keep you away from all so that not even the strongest of men can take you
You are ours and we belong to you, forever and always

I am Vine M; I wrap around your beautiful thorn covered stem
The thorns do not hurt me for I know you care for me
I keep people from damaging your stem, the foundation of you other than us
Without your stem you’re merely some petals, although they’re pretty that is not all I want

I am Vine I; I surround your beautiful silk like petals
The smooth touch of your petals shows me all the care you have for me
I keep people from plucking your beautiful petals, the main floral part of beautiful you
Without your petals you’re merely a stem, although beauty in that state alone it is not all I want

You are Rose S; the one we live for
The only thing that we care about all in the same way
You are our only Rose
You are our only love

I wrote this poem after seeing a single rose in grossed by two individual vines of different color tone.
