Pushing My Breaking Point
My heart sinks deeper into the sea,
The more weight my shoulders take.
And only when I stop to think,
Do I feel that overwhelming wave
Of emotions struggling to be acknowledged
And my strife and stress and worry are often hard to bear.
A rare tear may sear my cheek.
Occasional sobs may come loose.
No thinking - just action.
For right now my thoughts are poison
And action is the cure.
I will refuse my want to break,
So no one I hold dear will have to take what i don't want to give.
