Mixed Emotions
I hear the pitter-patter of rain,
on the beach water hits the shore.
It helps when I am in pain,
It is unlike what I have seen before.
It is fairly insane,
like a tsunami outside my door.
When I have tears,
I feel like a deserted town.
Rain makes the tears disappear,
I hide my delightful sorrow and do not frown.
The sun comes out to shine,
I feel better and smile.
I get some flowers to call mine,
It is great since it has been a while.
This makes me sound sad,
but in reality I am glad.
