Won't Shed Another Tear

Every time I cry, I swear it will be my last tear
Crying ain't ever made things better
I feel so very hopeless,
But before a tear glazes over my cheek
I blink real fast,
then pick up my pen.

I always used to think that people who cry are weak, that they were over-sensitive. I want people to know that it's not true. We're all human.
