The Maze

The path leads you down a long stretch,
Guiding your movements as you walk,
Taking it step by step.
Until another path appears to split your destination,
Pondering which way to go,
You decide to take the road less traveled,
Leading you somewhere unknown that’s alien,
But letting you experience something new.
Making your way down the maze is in an adventure itself,
Not knowing if there will be another path,
Leading you off to somewhere amazing or bringing you to your knees with failure,
Ultimately, the decision is yours.

The author's comments:
I wanted to write about how life is not always clear and that we come across new paths in the road. These paths may take us to some unexpected places but may ultimately be the best decision of your life or the worst. Life is filled with opportunities and decisions we must make everyday and these experiences inspired me to write this.
