The sparrow with no song,
no one to sing along.
He tried to make a tune,
but only found it would ru'n his voice.
The sparrow with no tune,
his voice empty and
let go.
The sparrow tried to sing,
he tried to make his throat ring,
alas the sparrow had no song.
He had no one to sing along
to his tune.
This sparrow tried so hard,
he just could not find his way,
to this pitch,
to this tune.
The sparrow had no song.
