Stereotypical Teens
"Everybody run"
Adults question every teen they see
looking at us as if we just killed someone
yes a lot of us walk around with skin tight jeans
making us walk as if we were shot in the knee cap
some wearing regular earrings the size of an eraser the size of a tiny pencil eraser
shining so bright like a star
wondering if we stole them
While in reality we worked for four days and five hours a week to get them
the weekend comes by
woop woop COPS party is busted
EVERYBODY RUN
hopping fences sprinting down streests
hiding behind bushes
sweat trickling down our faces hands all clammy stomach in knots
wondering if we will make it home unspotted
thinking marijuana and alcohol is our best friends
But while some are out getting lifted chugging beer
partying and making poor decisions
Most are out with friends or girlfriends at malls
watching a movie or just a simple bonfire sitting around talking
listening to music and having innocent fun
If only they would open thier eyes to see that
