Why didn't you love me dad,
Why wasn't I ever good enough for you,
All I wanted was for someone to love me,
Even that
You couldn't do,
I was robbed of my childhood,
My happiness was taken away,
I never knew what love was,
Because You never showed me,
All I ever wanted was a family,
Like all the other children had,
But I was fostered out to strangers,
When all I ever really wanted,
Was a real mom,
Or dad,
I just needed someone to love me,
But it wasn't meant to be,
Although a long time ago,
I needed you daddy,
I know you never needed me.
