You are my Rainbow
She is green; frog green.
She can blend in, but stands on her own.
She is yellow; the sun’s yellow.
She is always so bright and happy.
She is red; her heart’s red.
She is always beating and never down.
She is blue; the oceans blue.
She flows so free, back and forth.
He is black; the black of the letters that I write.
He is misunderstood.
He is red; his heart’s color red.
He is always there and alive.
He is blue; the sky’s blue.
He is outstanding in what he retains.
He is yellow; the sunflower yellow.
He has his own beauty unseen by others.
She is orange; the Giant’s orange.
She is always a winner and proud.
She is purple; a plum kind of purple.
She is just rip and fresh.
She is teal; the Shark’s teal.
She is beast and tough.
She is pink; the pink of our lips.
She will always be there for me.
