Treason for Tyrants
(one rhyme per topic)
My alarm sounds and I, smell the air,
Or what I hope is there I’m, unaware
Do they even care? It’s kinda unfair,
Earth has no spare yet, her tires are square.
Enduring wear and tear with no healthcare,
In need of your repair, but you aren’t there!
Off with your political affairs.
How do you sleep, with all the secrets you’re giving?
Tango down or, is he still living?
Do you think these lies will ever be forgiven?
Tell the truth you coward; chicken.
Your words don’t heal, opposite; they sicken
Long story short, you make my blood thicken
The ones with the dough run this show
But they’ll reap what they sow
So let’s let all know
So John Doe and Joe Shmow
Can afford Bordeaux, to bestow
Unto those that make their hearts aglow.
Because we work too.
We’re ready to clean through this zoo;
Break through,
And create a new,
Equality true, like we loved to pursue
We can run our own worlds, without your taboo.
While you,
Focus on your delegation, no desperation
Denying your damnation to destination desecration.
Decoration over dissertation.
Domination with deforestation.
Your depredation’s a devastation
Drowning in dehydration
Call it domestication -- it’s demoralization.
So rise with me brothers and sisters
Workers raise your calluses, your blisters
Together we will stand and deliver
Uniformity will be our transistor
Together we march:
Let’s make them quiver.
Let’s make them whither.
And in their ears we’ll whisper:
“Now we have peace”
