Another Day
I'm black and blue because of you
Your fist came first
Feeding your violent thirst
You found me where I hid
Although we both knew, there was nothing I did
My stomach sunk,
He was drunk
He yelled and screamed and kicked
He says it's my fault that he's sick
I'm laying bruised and bloodied on the floor
When he decides to point to the door
"Get out!"
I stand up and walk away
Glad I'm here for another day
