I stare at the ground
And watch as the leaves chase one another
And fall to the ground when they become tired
Just when you think they've fallen asleep,
They get back up once again and fly
They fly throughout town into the woods,
Crashing into everything they come into contact
They produce 'snap' sound when they're stepped on
It sounds like you snapped it in half
But really it's groaning in pain
When it gets up they haven't lost a bit of energy
They're at it again, chasing and playing with one another

This is a poem about the brown and red leaves during the fall. I got inspiration from watching leaves. Weird, I know.
