Chewy was at Save a Pet
he was so eager to have a new home
that he smiled the biggest smile he could
tilting his head trying to be cute
he so wanted a boy to play with

he was finally noticed by my mom
while I was looking at the adorable puppies
my mom caught my attention and I looked at chewy
while at the same time I asked if I could take him out of the cage
we let him out and he hid behind a garbage can

he was so small and innocent and scared
that he was shaking but wagging his tail at the same time
I went to pet him and he just went behind the garbage can
not knowing what to do just scared but wanted a home
we decided to bring him home with us
