Since I could remember I knew to believe in You

To follow your word and remain faithful and forever true

But now it seems I just can’t conceive
Every though I know I am to believe

God I know you’re true and that you’re there
But Lord I need you to draw me near

See the world tells me this and that
And tires to pull me down further into its trap

I ask you to put more in me
But the older I get I can no longer see

God I cry out to you, can you hear,
Or have you just turned away your ear

God I try to hear your voice
Because I know you’re the only choice

PLEASE answer me, I beg of you
I don’t know what else I can do

I’ll pray every night and day
And send your healing hand my way

Because what good is it to know and not feel
And what good is it to have power and not heal

She said I need to open up my heart
So please Lord show me where to start


I am trying to say yes
Until I do I cannot rest

Please just send me any sign
To let me know your word divine

I’ll give my everything to you
Create in me something new

So is there hope for me, please let me know
Because I’ll be waiting on my knees till you do so
