clear blue skies of summer

Clear blue skies
white fluffy clouds,
bright yellow sun
smiling over everything.

Warm weather and humid air
wearing shorts and tank tops,
bleached hair and tanned skin
from spending time in the sun.

Long warm days,
the sun high in the sky.

Late, cool nights
the dark sky, still so clear
you can see every star.
