The Stars Come Out in Daydreams

Falling, falling away to nonexistent worlds
Where cloudless skies rein and spring flowers smile.....
Oh, but is not such harsh reality?
In daydreams stars shine, shine like diamonds,
Because nothing good has ever happened in perfection,
At some time this issue we must address.
When stars rise and gentle suns fall
The truth and dreams come out
Hidden in daylight, thriving in nightmare.
In my daydreams, when I fall from our world,
I see not the perfection of another place,
But the mystery of stars, diamonds, in the ocean of dark night.
