Dependence

The ability to feel wanted
Like someone can’t live life without you
It’s flattering indeed
Like you are on the top of the line
Important
At the same time you are suffocating
Unable to breath or move
Trapped
Guilt invades every inch of your body
That you obtain the knowledge that you will never love him
The same way that he does for you
Remorse and shame
All he wants is for you to be happy
But you know secretly
He wants you to be happy
With him
Which you know that you can’t
Because you love someone else
It kills both of you
Yourself because you want to give him the happiness he deserves
But if you provide him happiness
You are taking it away from yourself
However for him
He acts as if without you
He will die
Like in order to survive
He strives for your love
Without it
He will suffer from depression
Conflicted
It’s either his or your happiness
He is attached
Stuck together like glue
One step away he follows
Always by your side
Can’t seem to shake him off
He will never let go
It’s almost like one wrong move
And life will become hectic
He relies on you so much
It’s like he is a part of you
When you die
He dies also
You are a playground to his inner child
He depends like you are his and only his
A second away is like a decade away for him
Appears romantic
But within his outwardly romantic acts
There lays a teenager boy
Holding onto a speck of hope
That includes a love story with his best friend in his life
A boy that is blind to see
That his best friend is in love with someone else
He is forever trapped in his fantasy
Never reality
Because he grew dependent on a girl
That will never be his the way he wants her to
And in reality
The truth will kill him
In his fantasies
His dependence is accepted

How someone can depend on you so much is truly scary in my point of view. To the point that they are willing to do anything just for you...
