The only reason to risk Everything
How can anyone dismiss love
as if it wasn’t the only reason to risk everything?
If it wasn’t for love,
what else would drive you to put everything on the line?
To risk your life, your happiness, your peace of mind.
All risk is done in the name of love.
We put our heart on a string that is
entirely too
fragile,
and give other people the ability to
dangle
this string as
gracefully
or as
violently
as they please.
But how can anyone dismiss love
as if it wasn’t the only reason to risk everything?
Because, tell me, what else would you risk it all for?
