See this face?
This isn’t mine.
This is my mask of pride.
You’ve created this mask,
Forced me to be something I never wanted to be.
Hiding,
Desperate,
Scared.

See your face?
Look hard into the mirror
Your face is the ghost of who you were.
The mask you’ve created.
Now you’ve become something I’ve never imagined.
Scary,
Harsh,
Careless.

See these tears?
No, you don’t.
Because you don’t bother to look.
The silence of others is noticed
But my tears fall on blind eyes.

Those eyes.
Your eyes.
You use them without knowing.
The blush they used to send towards my cheeks
Are now pains in my heart.
Are you happy?
I’m glad that this was a burden.
I’m glad that I was a burden.

See this?
This is me,
Taking my mask off.

See this face?
This is me.
Deal with it.
