Who Are We
We are warriors, But at the same time scared little kids. We try to act cool wearing the latest styles and listening to the latest music, But we know we know how weird we really are. We just want to fit in and be popular, But shouldn't worry about that.
We worship music, And think we are in love. We let people push us around, And get into moods where we just want to be alone. We are sensitive, And only open up to our closest friends.
They look at us as misfits, But they don't understand. They think all we do is listen to rap and watch tv, But they are wrong. They want us to get jobs and wear suits, But we want to spend money and wear cutoff shorts.
We make mistakes more than others, But it's ok. We try to act like we don't care, But deep down we know we do.
We sing in the shower, argue with our parents, and hate school, But that's how it is.
Teenagers are hound and free. They never leave their phones, always are on the Internet, and know a Mac laptop like the back of their hand. They thrive off of drama and rumors. They eat unhealthy amounts of pizza, candy, and coca-cola. They like to break the rules and stay out late. We are teenagers.
