Favorite Quote:
"We have nothing to fear, but Fear itself." -F.D.R.

Do you see the pain behind his eyes,
It holds his ultimate demise.
No matter where he goes,
The river of tears always flows.

He fought for town and country,
Even to see his little boy.
He's gone through all that strife,
Just to see the loving eyes of his wife.

He fought to protect our freedom,
To keep us from ultimate bedlam.
He is a homeless veteran on the fly,
But yet we never thank him as we pass him by.

The author's comments:
This is all too true in today's society. A lot of veterans are made homeless when they come back from deployment and are all but forgotten. This goes out to all the veterans past and current: thank you for defending our freedom with you life.
