Did you see that?
That was your life flashing before your eyes.
Every moment in your life coming back to you.
All those times when you laughed and cried.
Like a clock on the wall,
Going tic tock tic tock.
Watching all the moments, the happy and sad ones, combined into one.
Tic tock tic tock.
Remember the time you fell in love?
But only to realize forever was just three short months.
Or the day your first child was born?
Your first child, the baby girl with dark thick hair, is the same woman sitting next to you with children of her own now.
The same woman you raised to be an amazing daughter, mother, and wife.
There in those moments you never thought this day would come so fast.
Twenty-four years turned into eighty-seven and there your life went.
Even though you can still remember when you were a child.
Time flies faster than you realize, and before you know it you’re eighty-seven in the hospital bed with the family you made crowded around you.
The hospital bed that shouts death every time you look at it.
Like dripping water-going drip, drip.
Each moment piled into a little drop of life.
Life, such a big thing with so many memories piled up within it.
All those little moments you thought would never matter to you turned into some of your favorite memories.
Your best friends from high school, turned into skin and bones six feet under the dirt.
Sad to think of right?
Those same best friends you would stay up with late at night just to gossip with.
All those memories you’ve made now that you’re grown.
And the sad ones that have blown away because they mean nothing now.
They mean nothing compared to the two million happy ones you have.
Life is a journey, might as well enjoy the ride.
It is too precious to waste even a second on thinking about the “What ifs”
Before you know it those memories will be flashing before you.
Make sure it’s worth watching.
