He loves me,
He loves me not.
He doesn't love me.
He loves his pot.

Sits there smoking;
I'm not here.
Sits there smoking;
Have another beer.

He loves me,
He loves me not.
He Loves me,
He Loves me not.

You'll never love me...
I disappear.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem in middle school about someone who was really close to me who had a really bad drug problem. Often times it felt that he didn't care about me, when in reality he just didn't care about himself anymore. Either way, it left me in a roller coaster of wondering whether he loved me or not and feeling as though I was nothing without him.
