I've never wanted to be
thin white cotton
until today
when you lifted
your arms to stretch
and I couldn't
help but wonder
how wide
your wingspan would be
and how close
you could get to the sun
with those
shoulders of yours.

You write with clear elegance on things that may seem insignificant to many people. I think you're a talented writer. And I'm a fan of your poetry. I love the image here. And the title too.
