Don't you wish
That you could be the lightning?
Wind rushing all around you.
Powerful and strong.
Absolutely fearless.
Dangerous.
Like lightning.
Beautiful.
Majestic and striking.
Something special.
Supernatural.
Utterly breathtaking.
Like Lightning
Up in the sky
Down to the ground.
Right through the eye of a storm
Feel the adrenaline
Rushing through me
Like lightning.
Don't you wish
That you could be the lightning?

I was watching firweorks, but then there was lightning too. My dad and sister went inside, but I didn't. i kept watching. Not the fireworks, but the lightning. And all of a sudden it changed from dangerous to beautiful and I wanted to feel it. I wanted to touch it. But of course, to do so means death, so I went inside and wrote a poem about how much I wanted to.
