Into The Rabbit Hole
I’ve gone a million miles,
In search of something worthwhile;
I’ll go a million miles more,
Just as I have before.
My shoes are worn and thin,
Cracking at the seams;
They get me where I need to go,
To the places of my dreams.
A faithful friend,
Going with me on this journey;
Keep me company dear friend,
Together till the very end.
Been here, been there,
Really it’s all the same;
Going places, going crazy,
Trying to stay sane.
They may take away my freedom,
My soul they may abuse;
Take it all away,
But they may never take my shoes.
Once again it’s time to leave,
To the sanctuary in my mind;
Places to be, things to see,
A destiny to find.
