The Monster
It is fast, a creature of the dark
Here at midnight, in this old wooden house
A black slimy creature crawls, and does not stop hunting
Near the barn in the back, crawling the walls
Or by the kitchen, or in the bedroom
He sneaks where no one wants him,
Or in the hay,
He stalks forever.
A wise, young man. His gloves of cotton
A handful of supplies and brown boots
Made him the great helper that anyone would love,
The best exterminator.
The creature is not scared,
He knows he can escape, he has no worries!
And the people to turn and flip all night long,
Pray, and hope he is gone soon.
He is hard to find, very sneaky.
He knows about everything that goes on.
When you have this scary creature hunting for you, how can one sleep?
Too many chances have been given, they children are exhausted.
These men better get rid of it.
Any child would be afraid.
They sometimes see him run pass the doors.
He carries dead creatures on his back to drink,
It is more than a creature.
It is a monster, the family cannot rest.
Shall come, the shining freedom of living in a safe home
Everything can be normal,
Bringing peace.
Who will fix this horrible problem?
All the hours everyone is up,
Its ridiculous,
This family needs a savior.
