My Feelings
It is immaculate how much someone can affect our day
And turn our hearts upside down.
One word, one glance, or even their absence in our lives
Can push us off cliffs, sending us through rocky terrains.
I want it to be like it used to be:
Spontaneous nights, random acts of kindness, and endless laughter.
I want him to show me he cares like he used to-
and I want him to take my silence not as ignorance.
Instead, I want my absence to be felt,
Just how I feel his deep down in my stomach.
