His Hands
His eyebrows scream for wax
His beard yearns for a razor
But his hands, shivering and shaking with old age,
Signal strength
His face calls out for soap
And maybe a few gallons of water
His beard full of grey shows wisdom,
And his hands signal strength.
The bunch of hunters didn’t gather anything to munch on
He wonders what will come next
His stomach growls, rawr, like a lion stalking prey
But his hands,
His hands signal strength
