"My Home"
I have lived here since I can remember;
To cold to swim in December.
The cool breeze passes through my hair,
As the salt fills the air.
Hope my parents will be clever,
And stay here forever.
Soft sands bury my feet;
The land is always changing, it is never neat.
Waves continuously bound the ground,
But I really enjoy the sound.
Shells from the great ocean deep
Wash up in heaps.
I wish I could just live my life on the open ocean,
But boy that would create quite a commotion!
The beach is the only place I have ever known.
The one place I’ve grown.
This will be my home forever and ever.
