Look around you.
How many people
are frowning?
Do you know them? Their problems?
What about me?
Look around you.
Does anybody
notice you?
or are you invisible to them,
just a puddle in the road to avoid?
Do you see me?
Look around you.
Now be honest:
Do you take time to ask
about others and how they feel? Yes?
No?
Look around you.
If you’ve ever been callous
To someone, raise your hand. Raise it.
Come on, everyone’s done it. I know I have.
That’s what I thought.
