People are like Butterflies

People are like butterflies,
all of which are beautiful.
Gleaming in the sunlight
a feeling indescribable.
Under their beauteous wings
the hold a story of their past
maybe they had touched the clouds,
then just fell a little too fast.
Always know my friend
you cannot keep a butterfly in a jar
for it shall truly suffocate
a love lost, gone too far.
People are like butterflies
cherished for the beauty and thrill
but they shall come and they shall go
as they always have and always will.
