Once there was a dog named Penny
She was very different and not like many.
When we got her we thought she would be a piece of cake,
No! We were wrong, what a terrible mistake.
She howls like a wolf and looks like a hound,
She destroys our grass and digs holes in the ground.
She barks so loud that your ears will bleed,
Why do we keep her, oh what is the need!
This dog will break everything that is in her sight,
She does not settle down, not day, not night.
Why do we own her, she is such a waste of space,
If you pet her she’ll try to bite your hand or face.
Because of this dog, my brother’s face has two scars,
She needs to be sent to the pound and put back behind bars.
Penny is the opposite of our dog Valentine,
Who is smart, friendly, quiet, and kind.
Valentine’s hair is black, as Penny’s is White,
Valentine is normal, but Penny is just not right.
This dog is a pain in the neck and just way too much to control,
She splashes all the water that she is supposed to drink in her bowl.
I do not think that Penny was born with a brain,
Because whatever she does, she just looks insane.
In the house, she leaves a trail of hair,
And if she ran away, I would not really care.
We can not get rid of her, no matter how hard we try,
Because my Mom loves her, but we don’t know why
.Penny can be nice sometimes on a rare occasion,
But for now she still causes us too much frustration.

My dog inspired me to write this. This is not very exaggerated.
