Dyslexia

Words jumbled,
Also mumbled,
Trying to blend in.

Headache glaring,
People staring,
Just wanting to fit in.

Broken bridge,
A load of baggage,
Just not sinking in.

Hiding away,
Life in disarray,
Helplessness settling in.

Feeling different,
Keeping silent,
It always seems to win.

Acting distant,
Parents persistent,
Keep on giving in.

Hesitation,
Realisation,
Not actually alone.

Light is dawning,
Like on a sunlit morning,
Brightness pushing through.

When in doubt,
Don’t shut your mouth,
Push on till you break through.

I'm new at the whole poetry stuff so I'm putting categorising this poem in the 'Other' section but I'd really appreciate some feedback on it and maybe someone could identify what type of poem it is?
