Parents are the most flattering thing
To have around
They are there for you
When you are lugubrious
Incensed
Bedridden
Or just plain jubilant

When you break your parent’s hearts
You hear a loud crack
like a nut
When you make your parents feel ecstatic
Their hearts go boom-boom boom-boom
Like a number of fireworks going off

Parents are an arrondi highway
Being all confounding the first time they tell you something
But then it gets easier
Everytime you learn it more and more

My mother is the light in my life
And the sun in my sky
My father is the apple of my eye
Those are a couple of ways
To describe my parents

Seeing my moms incandescent brownish blonde curls
That bounces up and down her neck
Makes me feel
Like I love her even more
When she smiles
It lights up my day
When she frowns
It makes my day dark and grey

Seeing my dad's short, little sharp bristles
Of his shaven hair
On his head
Makes it look amusing
And also very aciculate
But I love him
And so does everyone else
When he laughs
It makes me laugh with him
When he cries
It makes me want to cry too

I love my parents
And so should you
This is it for now
Unless I come up with more
Like last time
See, I'm doing it again!
Anyway
This is it for now

I wanted to write this because I love parents and people should too.
