I promise

I took her hand into mine
It was only a matter of time
Until I could reveal
That my love for her was real
This feeling inside was burning with passion
Everytime we embraced, I got a smile upon my face
The way she made me feel, was something I couldn't conceal
I pray to the Gods
that she'll be mine forever
So I gave her a band of gold
My promise for us to grow old
I promise.
