One in a Million Stars
The night is so silent, it made me sigh
I looked up above at the peaceful sky
I see countless stars and the moon tonight
They twinkle and they glow, so pretty and so bright.
One star caught my eyes, I was so amazed
I stared and it twinkled as I gazed
As if it can see me and listen to what I say
That night I found a friend that will never go away.
I sit alone every night
‘Till the star comes to my sight
I talk to it when I’m happy or sad
I found a listener, I am so glad.
A listener, cheerer, supporter and a friend
The whole night I am willing to spend
For this star is extraordinary
It’s one in a million, shining graciously.
