Insanity
I take a seat,
White walls, white floor, black thoughts.
Now the clouds roll in.
Running, running, my mind is running.
What, who, when, why, why, why.
A balloon string slipping through my hand.
It soars higher out of sight, vanishing.
Come back.
Alone now, stuck in my head.
On my knees, praying they could see what I see.
Flower petals turn to burning hope, held steady by the stem.
Ashes fall, I fall, no one else falls.
Come back.
I’m sitting, but my thoughts,
They plunge.
Roller coaster hitting the peak.
Bracing for impact, stomach drops, pace increases.
The car lets loose of the track,
The only stability it had ever known,
Now gone.
Come back.
Endless colors all sorted in complete randomness.
Where am I?
Who am I?
Veer right, Veer left,
A fork in the road, my chance to get on a steady path.
Pick a side, one or the other it doesn’t matter, pick one.
I went straight, where no road is there to greet me.
Again a victim of my own choices or even more the fail to choose.
A ship disappearing in the mist,
My ideas, originality, memories and clarity all thrashing between the sails .
Goodbye plain world.
Come back.
I am caught, no release possible.
Most thoughts enter a filter,
My filter as useless as a car without wheels.
Do not lose your filter,
For I am the epitome of madness.
